When we hear the word “caregiver,” many people think of those caring for the elderly, or someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia. But caregiving is so much broader than that.
A caregiver could be…
A parent raising and supporting a child with special needs.
An adult child helping a parent recover from a serious accident or illness.
A loved one walking alongside someone facing long-term illness or disability.
Caregiving shows up in many forms…But one thing is always the same—It’s a lot to carry.
That’s why we’re launching a Caregivers Support Group! Join us for our very first gathering on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Cathedral of Praise. It will be a safe place to talk, to listen, to learn, and to be supported.
